I was fired from my job at Stones River Town Centre on May 30 2023 after almost 13 of service. Stones River Town Centre was formally Stones River Mall and was rebranded as Stones River Town Centre a few years ago when Sterling Organization assumed ownership. I began working for Dynamic Security at Stones River Mall in June 2010 after retiring from Bridgestone-Firestone in Lavergne Tennessee after 22 years. When I went to work at the mall I was a part-time officer averaging 32 hours a week. Stones River Mall was a thriving medium sized mall then. It had recently gone through an extensive remodeling and expansion in 2008 and it was under different ownership at that time. There were no empty tenant spaces as I recall. It remained this way for a number of years. I loved working at the mall, although dealing with unruly teens and customers could be very stressful at times.
