    After the mosque shooting in New Zealand the government there passed a law banning all military style semi automatic weapons, all high capacity ammunition magazines, and all parts that allow a weapon to be modified into the type of weapon used in the attack. The New York Times in an article praised New Zealand for only taking six days to pass this law. This reinforces the leftist adage to never let a good crisis go to waste. New Zealand is a country that averages 1.07 gun deaths per 100,000 people a year. Their total population in 2017 was 4.795 million people. Prior to the mosque shootings the worst mass shooting in modern New Zealand history occurred in 1990 at a place called Aramoana township. This was the result of a verbal dispute between two neighbors. Fourteen people, including a police officer, died when David Gray, obviously a nut case, went on a killing spree killing his neighbors and innocent bystanders. He made the allegation that Alexandria Ocasio Cortez was not a legitimate congressman but an actress chosen for the part. Mr. Reagan's allegations were solid because he provided video evidence that appear to verify his allegations. I am usually very skeptical of conspiracy theories  but everything Mr. Reagan said has the ring of truth and is very logical. In order to confirm the story I called into Steve Gills morning talk show, the Tennessee Star Report, about two weeks ago. I asked him, and his co-host Michael Patrick Leahy if the story was true. In my mind Gill would know because he was a former Republican candidate in Rutherford County and has been involved with the Tennessee Republican Party for years.   Recently a friend, who happens to be a Black female tried to convince me that I was the beneficiary of White privilege. I can't remember what we were talking about at the time but I passionately replied that that was bovine scatology. Was there such a thing as White privilege in 1950, the year I was born? Absolutely!!! A better description would be White Male privilege. White males were more privileged than just about everyone when it came to getting a job, or an education. Most White women were stay at home moms and if they did work they were only allowed to work in jobs traditionally set aside for women. Black men were lucky if they could find jobs in construction, gardening, restaurant work, such as short order cooks, farming or retail. I will preface my remarks by saying that I abhor the shooting in New Zealand and that the man responsible is nothing but pure evil. Having said this anyone who knows me is aware of the fact that I am not very fond of the Islamic religion. It is dangerous and I believe that we should discourage the growth of Islam in the U.S. In a manifesto released by the shooter he praised President Trump's stand on illegal immigration in the U.S. along with the Norwegian White supremacist Anders Breivik, who murdered 77 people in 2011. Breivik was also an anti-Muslim extremist. I know that the Communist backed mainstream media will have a field day with this one. To me, however; this is the modern day equivalent of John Brown writing a manifesto praising William Lloyd Garrison for his anti-slavery stance.     For years now I have been reminded by my Christian relatives and friends that I shouldn't worry so much about this world and what happens because everything is in God's hands. I agree with this thinking to a point. Ultimately it is what sustains me in the end. Sometimes, however; I suspect that many Christians say this in order to justify their own apathy. If all Christian's voted, and made their impact felt in the halls of government, maybe the left would not be making such headway in the world and evil would not triumph as easily.
