REDEMPTION AND THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS

Image
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. Matthew 6:14 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.” Matthew 18:21-22 32 Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed. 33 When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left. 34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” Luke 23:32-34 More people identify as atheists today than at any time in my lifetime. On the eve of Kennedy's assassination in 1963 about 5 in 6 American's regularly attended church. Today church attendance has dropped to about 1 in 5. Christians today, depending on where you live, are many times viewed as weirdos and out of the mainstream. In my vie...

THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING

Image
I was listening to a hypnotist explaining how Tyler Robinson was brainwashed enough by leftist propaganda to Kill Charlie Kirk. He made a very valid point. The left shouldn't have anything to fear from the right because this is not our MO. Secondly, why would we take out clowns? They are not hurting the Conservative movement they are helping it. Why would you want to silence someone like Jasmine Crockett, AOC, Maxine Waters, ""Tampon" Tim Walsh, Gavin Newscum, Hillary Clinton, or Kamala Harris? Every time they open their mouth a new Republican vote is born. They are just the gift that keeps on giving.

GIVE EM HELL

Image
On my way into work this morning I was listening to a local conservative talk show host. A listener emailed the question that asked if the death of Charlie Kirk would still be having the same impact six months from now. That is a good question and I have been thinking a lot about that. I think that his death is having a greater impact than we know and his movement will continue to grow. Before Charlie Kirk's death there were people of all ages who either didn't know who he was or had only heard his name in passing. Now people are seeking out his videos on line. Once they actually listen to what he is saying they discover that their beliefs and values are more in line with Charlie's than with the Democrat party. This same I talk show host played a couple of young people's testimonials to how their opinion of Charlie Kirk was much more positive after taking the time to listen to him. Both happened to be young black men. One identified as a homosexual. They expressed ange...

MARTYRDOM

Image
Martyrdom usually elevates the martyred to a higher place in history than they may or may not deserve. For example it is easy to forget that Abraham Lincoln, prior to Donald Trump was the most hated president in American history. If he had lived the Reconstruction era was a political minefield that he would have had to negotiate. Personally, I think Lincoln was a political genius and the best person suited to handle Reconstruction. Even so, if he had lived would we have the same reverence for him as we do today? Whenever I heard someone wishing death on Bill or Hillary Clinton, Obama and Biden I would tell them that we shouldn't wish death on anybody but you should pray for their good health and for them to repent. The last thing that you want to see is some rogue elevated to the status of a martyr. This is a lesson that Tyler Robinson failed to learn before he assassinated Charlie Kirk. I am not implying that Charlie was a rogue but obviously this monster thought he was. The sam...

WE ARE ALL REPUBLICAN'S TODAY

Image
In 1981 President Reagan was nearly killed in an assassination attempt. Jokingly he told the doctors "I hope you are all Republican's". A doctor, who was a Democrat replied, Mr. President, "today we all Republican's". This is the kind of country I want to see again some day. Can you imagine what they would say, or even do if Trump were in a similar situation today? This is why we have to purge haters from society and good company.

A BREAKING POINT

Image
Batya Ungar-Sargon made a great point on the Piers Morgan show. This is something I have been preaching for years. The hate is one sided and it is coming from the left. Our side is like Charlie Kirk. We are willing to meet in the middle and have a true intelligent debate or discussion. The left on the other hand wants us dead but we are the ones who are heavily armed and most of us know how to shoot. If we were mad enough that we wanted to hurt people I don't think the left could survive our wrath. You tried to kill our president twice and you killed Charlie Kirk. That's not counting all the conservatives you have wounded. Yet when you kill us we seeth in anger but we turn to God for comfort instead of our guns. We fought the British for our freedom and they had plenty of guns. Don't push us. It took years for the patriots to reach their breaking point. Modern day patriots have theirs too.

THE GLORY OF FAMILY

Image
Charlie Kirk's death has impacted me unlike any death of a public figure in history. I was greatly impacted by the deaths of JFK, MLK and RFK but not like Charlie Kirk. His death and Christian witness has inspired me to be a better Christian. Over the years it has been revealed that JFK was tied to the mafia and a man whore. The same can be said for MLK and RFK. MLK was a man whore and probably bisexual. RFK had an affair with Marilyn Monroe and both he and JFK may have been involved in her death. These things weren't revealed until after their deaths and as a result their standing is diminished in my eyes. I still look for the good in them and their positive accomplishments from a historical perspective. Who knows, Charlie Kirk may have his dark side. Lincoln said that "men are like the moon. We all have our dark side." Somehow at this point I don't believe that Charlie Kirk's dark side will come close to that of JFK, MLK or RFK.  The one aspect of Charlie...
