Did you know that on March 4, 1793 George Washington gave the shortest inaugural speech in history? It consisted of 133 words. On March 4, 1841 William Henry Harrison gave the longest speech ever. The speech consisted of 8,443 words and lasted two hours. Harrison, however; served the shortest time as president. He died exactly one month later on April 4,1841 of pneumonia.
