WHY ?
Recently, I heard that Khalid Shiekh Mohammed will finally face justice in a military tribunal, which should have been done long ago. On this eighteenth anniversary of September 11th I have a question. Why is a man who was directly responsible for the deaths of 3,000 innocent people still breathing? Osama Bin Laden financed and helped plan the attack but this man, more than anyone else, did the actual leg work in carrying it out. We spent years looking for Bin Laden and when we found him we killed him. This man, however; has been in our possession since March of 2003, and actually confessed to his crime in March of 2007. Yet, I would venture to guess, because of so little attention paid to him in the press, that most Americans could not tell you who he is. As far as war criminals go, he is right up there with Heinrich Himmler, Martin Bormann, Adolph Eichmann, and Herman Goering. Both George W. Bush and Barack Obama had their chance to try this man but neither men did. Hopefully Trump will finally do the job that his predecessors have failed to do. Only in America can a man avoid the justice that has been coming to him for so long.
