A COMMON THREAD

 

I will never forget the night that I heard about the death of Osama Bin Laden. In my view he was the epitome of evil. Bin Laden was responsible for the deaths of nearly 3,000 innocent American's. I won't lie. It was a joyous occasion and as a country we celebrated his death. I imagine my parents were happy when they heard the news that Germany had surrendered and Hitler was dead. He was responsible for the deaths of 60 million people including thousands of American's. This included the murder of 10 million Jews, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, Gypsies and political prisoners.

Why did this massive tragedy happen? Because Germans were fed the propaganda that Jews were not human. They were on a level with rats, cock roaches and other vermin. German's had been convinced that the Jews were responsible for much evil. The Jews in their mind were responsible for Germany's defeat in WW1. They had stabbed Germany in the back. The Jews were greedy gold diggers according to them. All German's didn't believe this way. The ones that didn't were irrelevant because of their silence. A whole race of people were exterminated because of the rhetoric coming from the Hitler regime. He convinced a large group of people that Jews had committed imaginary crimes that made them worthy of death.

For years now President Trump has been routinely called Hitler, a Fascist, a dictator and authoritarian. Terms like Gestapo are thrown around in reference to ICE agents and other Federal agents. MAGA supporters have been referred to as deplorables and garbage. President Trump and his supporters have been dehumanized. It is easier to kill a baby when it is a fetus. When an Asian is referred to as a Gook it is easier to kill them. If blacks become the n word it is easier, to enslave them, whip them, murder them and to be segregated from them. When an Indian becomes a savage they are easier to exterminate. On the other hand if we see each others humanity it is easier to coexist and form bonds.

Are all Democrats guilty of dehumanizing us? No, but like the Germans their silence renders them irrelevant. This is how a president can be a convicted felon for imaginary crimes and nearly assassinated twice. Or how Republican Congressmen are nearly killed practicing softball. Senator Rand Paul was nearly beaten to death by a neighbor in his yard because of his political beliefs. Christian children are slaughtered at school in Nashville and while praying in Minnesota. Or Charlie Kirk being murdered in front of his wife and children because he just wanted to debate people who disagreed with him. Are any of the people I mentioned guilty of killing millions of people or flying planes into buildings? Like the Jews our crimes are conjured up by evil people.

Debate was not allowed in Nazi Germany or Fascist Italy? Who is shutting down debate in America? Is it MAGA? The Brownshirts in Germany and Blackshirts in Italy shouted down political debate and discourse. Who does that in America? It isn't MAGA. Hitler sent his political enemies to concentration camps, murdered them and hung them from meat hooks. Especially after he was nearly assassinated in 1944. Every conspirator was summarily executed either by firing squad or hung from meat hooks. Trump's assassin is getting his day in court. The left hates us so much they want to kill us. Does anyone believe that if they could gain total control over our government they wouldn't imprison us and exterminate us?

I have always been intrigued by the picture of Nazi's at Auschwitz. Look at this picture. Why are they happy and smiling? They are only yards away from people fighting for their very survival. People who are being worked to death, are being gassed and cremated. Innocent men, women and children. There is a common thread between people who can smile and laugh under these circumstances and people who can laugh and celebrate over the death of a good Christian man whose only crime was having a difference of opinion with the left. Even when an evil person dies is that worthy of celebration? Not according to God. “Say to them, ‘As I live!’ declares the Lord GOD, ‘I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?’” Ezekiel 33:11 That's all Charlie wanted. For all men to turn from their evil ways and live. Even Tyler Robinson.
