WHY TRUMP STILL WINS IN NOVEMBER 2020

  On February 16, 2019 I wrote an article entitled MY UNSCIENTIFIC ANALYSIS- SIX REASONS WHY TRUMP WILL WIN IN 2020. The first sentence of that article begins like this. Barring an unfortunate circumstance, God forbid, such as a health problem or being assassinated Trump wins in a landslide in 2020. I didn't envision a worldwide pandemic as being one of those unfortunate circumstances. My view of things have changed somewhat because of this pandemic, however. I am even more optimistic about his chances for winning in November. This is why. My six reasons in the earlier article are still relevant. Number one, those of us who voted for him in 2016 have not lost confidence. We will vote for him again. Two, Trump will pick up additional votes from never Trumper's like my brother and Glen Beck who didn't think he was moral enough or conservative enough to vote for him the first time. Third, Trump will pick up more moderate Democrat votes, or fence sitters who have had a chance to see Trump in action and they like what they see. People like myself, who voted for Carter in 1980 but later voted for Reagan in 1984. Fifth, the BLEXIT movement of Blacks from the Democrat party into the Republican party will have a great impact on the outcome of this election. I have seen a lot of movement in that regard. And finally, the sixth and final reason. I still do not believe that the majority of American's are ready for socialism just yet. They are getting a taste of it right now and I don't think they are very impressed with it.

  On this last point the pandemic has exposed the socialist mindset. It has given American's a taste of what a socialist regime in America would be like. In some of the red states where freedom seems to have much more value, we have chaffed under the freedoms that we have lost, even for a fairly short time. In the blue states, and those run by RINO Republican's, we are seeing what soft tyranny really looks like. I have to believe that even some hardcore Democrat citizens are beginning to question the wisdom of these shutdowns. The economic hardships caused by these small time dictators are affecting Conservatives and Democrats alike. The statistics and science of this disease no longer justifies their actions. It becomes more and more obvious day after day that their real aim is to ruin the economy and by extension the prospects for Trump's reelection. The history of the last 3 years has been nothing but one attempt after another to overthrow Donald Trump's presidency and it has always backfired on them. I believe they are definitely overplaying their hand on this virus and this attempt will blow up in their faces. I might be wrong, and I have always said that if I am wrong I will take it like a man.

I believe that this pandemic has strengthened the 1st and 2nd Amendment in America. Religious people have seen the hostility of these governors who allow Planned Parenthood and liquor stores to remain open but people of faith, especially Christians, are barred from even gathering for church services in their cars. They have tried to limit people from exercising their right to protest and to peaceably assemble. No pandemic, or anything else for that matter, can interfere with a persons inalienable rights. We don't give up our right to counsel if we are arrested or fined because the lawyer might give us Covid-19. Nor do we give up our right to a speedy trial by a jury of our peers because we might catch this disease from the jury. As far as the 2nd Amendment I believe it is stronger than ever. People who ordinarily wouldn't think of buying a gun are buying them because this disease has made American's realize how vulnerable they will be if the economy collapses. Or if anarchy and chaos takes hold. The Bill of Rights is a Conservative ideal and in the end it helps Trump. Not the Democrats.

It is Trump that is projecting the positive message for America. He is pushing to reopen America and we are seeing an eager response to this message by American's in those states that are relaxing restrictions. It is the Democrats who are fostering the negative message of fear, doom and gloom. American's are not totally dumb. They were asked to flatten the curve in the beginning but the blue states are constantly changing rules and creating uncertainty. The governor of Pennsylvania is saying now that his state could be shut down until a vaccine is developed. Nobody knows when that will be and there is a possibility that we may never have a vaccine. What he is really saying is that Pennsylvania will be shut down until Biden is elected. Personally I don't believe Pennsylvanians, and the citizens of blue states will put up with this nonsense much longer. I believe that the Democrats are risking the loss of real estate, their major businesses and industries that they might never get back. These businesses will move where they are welcome and can operate freely. We are already seeing this with Elon Musk. Trump is not the one that is in trouble. The Democrats are self destructing before our very eyes. They just haven't realized it yet.
