LET US ALL BE UNBURDENED BY WHAT IS NOW

 Jeffrey Goldberg, who is the editor of the Atlantic magazine wrote a hit piece on president Trump accusing him of saying that he wished all of his generals were as good as Hitler's generals. Of course he uses anonymous sources and Goldberg is a proven liar. He is the same one that claimed Trump called the fallen Marines at Belleau Wood cemetery in France "suckers". This was soundly debunked by numerous people that were there. They said that he never said that. Many have come forward saying that Trump never said anything about wanting Hitler's generals or admiring Hitler. For the sake of argument let's say that Trump did say that. Hitler had some pretty good generals. Erwin Rommel and Heinz Guderian come to mind. If they had not been under the command of Hitler, who was a terrible military strategist, there is no telling how much damage that they could have caused us. What president wouldn't want generals like them or a George Patton, Stonewall Jackson, a Nathan Bedford Forrest, a John J. Pershing or a Ulysses S. Grant. When your fighting a war to win you should want natural warriors and leaders. I can't think of a modern American general that could hold a candle to these guys when it comes to war fighting capabilities. Trump didn't say that he admired Hitler's generals though. I would bet my paycheck on it. I don't know how many times the media can be caught lying and keep any shred of credibility. More people get their news from podcasts and other reliable news sources today than from the Pravda media. 

The hypocrisy of the Pravda media is always  on display because of it's blatant bias. Kamala Harris has been caught on video directly quoting Mao Zedong on numerous occasions saying "What can be unburdened by what has been". Mao killed at least 60 million of his own people and that is a conservative estimate. We can see and hear her say this for ourselves on video with our own eyes and ears. I could change that quote to LET US ALL BE UNBURDENED BY WHAT IS NOW. We would love to see the Democrat party destroyed. They are the greatest threat facing America today. Mao wanted to rid China of the four old's. The old customs, old culture, old habits, and old ideas. That is exactly what the Democrat party is doing in America. They have done this by changing our history, demeaning our heroes of the past, pulling down statues, destroying families, weakening our religious traditions, ruining our culture, and dividing America by pushing identity politics. We are no longer E pluribus unum meaning out of many one. The United States is becoming tribal due to identity politics. 


The left is great at using terms that are not relevant to the situation. They have called Trump Hitler for so long now that it sounds ridiculous. Thinking Americans just roll their eyes in disgust when they hear it. It is the same as when they call us racists, sexists, xenophobes, homophobes, transphobes and Islamophobes. We have heard it so much that it goes in one ear and out the other. The left cannot produce one shred of evidence that Trump is a Fascist but our side can produce a mountain of evidence that Kamala is a Fascist as well as the Democrats. The Chinese are more Fascist today than they are Communist. Fascism and Communism are joined at the hip. The Democrats are trying to turn America into China. Are the Democrats capable of killing 60 million American's and enslaving American's like Mao Zedong did in China? I think that they are very capable of anything if they win this election and win both houses of Congress. Then all they have to do is pack the Supreme Court, do away with the Electoral College, abolish the Bill of Rights and keep our borders open. It could happen very quickly. Quite frankly the things that I have seen the Democrat party do in the last 8 years convinces me that they are capable. For sure if Trump loses he will go to jail for the rest of his life. They will definitely go after Elon Musk, RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard. I am feeling pretty good about Trumps chances right now. A Trump victory may not be enough to defeat the Democrats insidious plans for America, however. Britain stood alone for several years against Hitler and went through a very dark period. At times their situation looked hopeless. As a Christian I know who wins over sin in the end so I will never feel hopeless but America's chances for survival is another thing altogether. It has seemed at times that Trump and his "deplorables" like myself, were fighting a losing battle. Like so many enemies that we have faced in our history the hubris of the left caused them to overextend themselves. Like the Founding Fathers Trump has formed a new coalition of not only patriotic common people but patriotic elites that possess the power and leadership qualities to defeat them. I like what Winston Churchill said on November 10, 1942 when the tide of war was turning in Britain's favor. 'Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.' Churchill was the right man to lead England during World War II and Trump could be our Winston Churchill.

CARNTON PLANTATION

   My first association with the Carnton Plantation in Franklin was when I would see the old house while hunting for Civil War relics in the early 1970's. There is a subdivision near Carnton today in the area where I hunted when it was primarily farm land. I knew it was an antebellum home but I wasn't aware of how historic Carnton was. It was in a horrible state of disrepair and I have learned since then that a farmer was using the house as his hay barn. In 1977 the owner of the property donated the house and ten acres to the Carnton Association and they have done a fantastic job of restoring the plantation to it's former glory. Originally the McGavock's owned 1400 acres. It was built by Randall McGavock in the 1820's. He was mayor of Nashville and a close friend of Andrew Jackson and James K. Polk. The James brothers with their mother Zerelda James   Most everyone has heard of the notorious outlaws Jesse and Frank James, however; did you know that they lived in Nashville from 1875 until March 1881? Jesse's oldest son Jesse James Jr. was born in Nashville along with his sister Mary. Jesse Jr. was born at 606 Boscobel Street on August 31, 1875. Mary was born on West Hamilton Road in Bordeaux on July 17, 1879. Jesse Jr. went by the name Tim and as far as he knew his last name was Howard. He and his sister would not know their real last names until after Jesse was killed in 1882. Jesse and his wife Zerelda would also lose two male twins in infancy.  Jesse's brother Frank lived on Clarksville Pike. While living there he and his wife Annie Ralston James gave birth to a son named Robert Franklin on February 6, 1877. For a time he would be dressed as a girl and go by the name of Mary.
