Reflections of An Uncommon Common Man

 Fifty plus people were shot in Chicago over the weekend and there were 8 deaths. We flew the flag at half mast for two people killed in Minnesota for several days. Chicago has over 600 deaths per year from gun violence. Until 2023 that number was nearly 700 per year. In 2007, the worst year of of the Iraq War we lost 908 Americans. No wonder Chicago is known as Chiraq. Like him or not Trump is saving lives in Washington D.C. right now. Prisker and Johnson have the chance to save lives by allowing Trump to help them. Of course their evil is deeper than their hatred of Trump. They could do the same that Trump is doing in Washington if they had the will to do it even without Trump's help. They created the revolving door justice system that let's criminals terrorize people over and over. To beat it all people are not allowed to defend themselves. I watched a documentary on the Ku Klux Klan the other night. Over the years I have watched many documentaries on the Klan and they all have one thing in common. They never highlight the role of the Democrat party in the Klan. The history of its original formation in Pulaski Tennessee is portrayed accurately and how it was meant to be a social club similar to a college Greek fraternity where young men met to drink, entertaining themselves by pulling pranks on the local community. Dressing up in Halloween like costumes and scaring people. Nashville's role in the Klan is never mentioned, however. It was where the hierarchy of the Klan was organized and it's main mission as a terrorist arm of the Democrat party was defined. It's goal was to keep the Republican party out of the Democrat South by any means necessary. Their bottom line was to keep the South Democrat and white. A one party region. Sound familiar?    The illustrious Democrat governor of Illinois J.B. Pritzker just came up with a great idea. He suggested that rather than send the National Guard into Chicago Trump should send them into the violent red states. I think Trump is listening because I heard him name New Orleans as a possible target. This would be great. If we cleaned up Democrat run hell holes like New Orleans, Houston, St. Louis, Atlanta, Birmingham, Jackson Mississippi, Memphis and Nashville the red states crime rates would go way down and we could rob Democrats of their disingenuous argument that the red states are high crime areas. Of course this is a swipe at our 2nd Amendment. They are saying see, you have all those guns but your crime statistics are as high as ours. Well, we might have to deal with high crime when we visit the blue cities in our red states but at least we can legally protect ourselves with a firearm.
