 Recently I was talking to a Trump supporter that liked his accomplishments as president but they said that they were tired of all the controversy surrounding him. For that reason they wanted someone different to run in 2024. I have heard this from a number of people and to me this is like blaming a ship for rough seas. Or blaming God for all the pain and suffering in the world. Personally, I hope Desantis runs for president in 2024 but it is not because I am discouraged over the controversy surrounding Trump. I love Trump and will gladly vote for him again if he is nominated. For my part Desantis is younger and I want him to do for America what he has done in Florida. Trump can only legally serve four more years and Desantis can serve eight. Is anyone really naive enough to believe that if Desantis, or the dark horse candidate Vivek Ramaswamy are elected president the left wont try to destroy them.? For those of you too young to remember it or those with short attention spans, there was a Nixon derangement syndrome, a Reagan derangement syndrome, and a Bush derangement syndrome, although the Bush's weren't deserving of theirs. They have proven themselves to be globalist neo-con's. The left will trash anyone with an R in front of their name. The press has always been friendly to Democrat's and unfriendly to Republican's. At least in my lifetime. 
 

 The media hid Kennedy's numerous sexual affairs with mafia mistresses, prostitutes, White House interns, and Hollywood starlets. They hid Bill Clinton's affairs, rapes, sexual molestations, his financial and drug scandals, both while he was governor of Arkansas, and later as president. They also protected his wife Hillary from her scandals, both as first lady of Arkansas, and later as first lady of the United States. The media also protected her as she ran an influence peddling racket all around the world as Secretary of State through the Clinton Foundation and later when she ran for president. They protected Obama through all of his scandals such as Fast and Furious, using the IRS to silence his political opponents, the Benghazi massacre and others. Now they are covering for the tyranny and corruption of the Biden  administration that may top all the previous presidents as far as the level of corruption. Actually I think Trump is the least corrupt president in American history. That is because he has been the most investigated president in American history. After all the millions of dollars wasted investigating him he always comes up clean. So for those of you who are tired of the turmoil surrounding Trump, the best advice I can give is that you need to focus on his accomplishments and the true cause of the turmoil. Then suck it up, strap in, and enjoy the ride.

    I could not agree more with this, Greg! Judging the man for the injustice done to him, not by him, is ludicrous and, unfortunately, the attitude that most people will take. Don't play it again, Sam! Sad, but true. Incidentally, Humphrey Bogart never said, "Play it again, Sam." He just said, "Play it, Sam." Just a little bit of trivia!

The James brothers with their mother Zerelda James   Most everyone has heard of the notorious outlaws Jesse and Frank James, however; did you know that they lived in Nashville from 1875 until March 1881? Jesse's oldest son Jesse James Jr. was born in Nashville along with his sister Mary. Jesse Jr. was born at 606 Boscobel Street on August 31, 1875. Mary was born on West Hamilton Road in Bordeaux on July 17, 1879. Jesse Jr. went by the name Tim and as far as he knew his last name was Howard. He and his sister would not know their real last names until after Jesse was killed in 1882.   Charlie Parkhurst aka One-eyed Charlie, Cockeyed Charlie, or Six Horse Charlie was born in 1812 in Vermont. Eventually he made his way out west to California where he became a teamster and one of the most skilled stagecoach drivers in history. He was small in stature but tough.
