 Some people are calling my recent post on Facebook regarding the censorship of foul language as being a violation of their 1st Amendment rights. In my opinion people do not have a proper understanding of what the 1st Amendment really means. My job as a mall security officer requires me to enforce mall rules regarding the language that is written on tee shirts and other clothing. For example people are not allowed to wear a tee shirt with the F word or any other profane words on them. You can buy these shirts and hats all day long in Spencers but you can't wear them out of the store. If you are a parent shopping with your children and you prefer not to shop at Spencers because, you don't want your children seeing those words, you should not have to encounter them in the common area of the mall. Our mall policy is that we want to keep a family friendly environment. This is why mall management enforces a dress code. They can do that because the mall is private property...

  Distortion of the news has become a daily occurrence by the mainstream media. Whenever I hear something negative about Trump such as the story that Trump told his lawyer to lie to congress or a report that tries to make his supporters look bad. Such as the case of the White teenager Nick Sandman wearing a MAGA hat who supposedly mocked an American Indian Vietnam veteran near the Washington monument, I usually reserve judgment because the truth will be revealed at some point. Usually within a matter of hours. Further discrediting the mainstream media and eroding the faith of the American people in their trustworthiness. They either outright lie or leave pertinent facts out of the story. Or they ignore the real news stories altogether. The stories that need to be reported are completely ignored most of the time.  Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick went on Tucker Carlson to make an impassioned plea for capitalism and the U.S. economy. This plea consisted of Patrick saying he thought grandparents like himself should be willing to sacrifice their lives so that the United States economy can continue moving forward during the coronavirus pandemic. I understand what Patrick was saying but I am not sure we have to sacrifice older people to get the economy going. Lets use common sense measures to protect the elderly like myself and others but Patrick is right. We have to get the economy going again or we could be facing an even bleaker future where many more people could die from causes unrelated to this disease. Which could involve Americans of all ages.  Although Andrew Cuomo is not one of my favorite people he is one of the few Democrats that has halfway acted like an adult in this crisis. "a post for which he has the expertise and the gravitas"  When Ronald Reagan ran for president in 1980 I still considered myself a Democrat. Personally, I liked Reagan.  Democrat Richard Mentor Johnson was Vice President under President Martin Van Buren. He fought in the War of 1812 and it was believed that Johnson was the soldier who personally killed the famous Shawnee Indian chief Tecumseh at the Battle of the Thames.  Every time that I see a Bloomberg add I am ready to tape my head with duct tape in order to keep it from exploding. I detest this man every bit as much as I do Obama and the Clinton's. He reeks establishment.. Bloomberg has no core values and can't figure out what he is. Which is it?, Republican, Independent, or Democrat? The things that the left tried to project on Trump fit Bloomberg to a tee. He is a wealthy oligarch that is out to protect his own interests. Much, if not most of his wealth was made in China. This is one of his main motivations for stopping Trump. Where Trump has been called a racist and misogynist these labels, based on Bloomberg's comments and actions would fit Bloomberg like a glove. Additionally, in my view, I believe that when you are pushing 80 years old, like Bloomberg and Sanders, you are too old to run for president.
