STANDING DOWN

 When I watch the Democrat party protect evildoers and tell the police to stand down while their BLM, and Antifa thugs wreak havoc I am reminded of another era of Democrat history. When 9 Black children tried to attend Little Rock Central High school in 1957 Democrat governor Orville Faubus called out the Arkansas National Guard to keep the kids out. Republican president Dwight Eisenhower was forced to send in the 101st Airborne to protect the children from the mob. Sadly there is no Republican president today willing to send in Federal troops to protect innocent people being attacked by Democrat mobs today. It is the same story today, however. Democrat governors do the bidding of the mob. 

In the big Democrat cities like New York, Kenosha, Portland, Seattle, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Baltimore and San Francisco mayors tell police to stand down and allow the mob to kill, maim, beat innocent citizens and burn property. Again, this tactic is not new. During the days when Democrat segregationists ran Southern states and cities police forces were ordered to stand down while the Klan thugs did the same as BLM and Antifa thugs are doing today. On May 14, 1961 the Klan tried to kill a busload of Black and White Freedom Riders in Anniston Alabama. While police stood back the Klan ran the Greyhound bus off the road and fire bombed the bus with the passengers still inside. They then blocked the exits trying to burn the Freedom Riders alive. Only the intervention of an undercover State Trooper, who was also a passenger, saved them from being burned alive. He drew his weapon and forced the Klansman away from the doors. He was on the bus only because of a good and decent director of the Alabama Highway patrol named Floyd Mann. 

 A Trailways bus was attacked in Birmingham by the Klan and when it reached Montgomery the Klan was given 15 minutes by the police to beat the passengers as they pulled into the bus station. John Lewis, and Jim Zwerg were nearly beaten to death. John Siegenthaler, who worked for Kennedy's justice department suffered a fractured skull and one Freedom Rider was paralyzed. He would die a few years later of his injuries. All White ambulances were put in the shop for maintenance so they couldn't be sent out to help injured White passengers. Again, the hero here was Floyd Mann, who stationed 100 state Troopers nearby in the event they were needed. Only the personal intervention of Mann saved John Lewis's life when he threatened to blow his attackers head off if he hit him again. Yes, this type of stuff happened all the time in the Democrat segregated South. Times change but the Democrat party is all about corruption and maintaining power. Constituencies change but not the tactics.

Jayne Mansfield   Jayne Mansfield died way too young on June 29, 1967 at the age of 34 in a gruesome car wreck, She was killed instantly but contrary to urban legend she was not decapitated. Jayne was called the poor man's Marilyn Monroe. She had enjoyed about a four year stint of popularity on Broadway and in Hollywood from 1954 until 1958. Her career was in decline in the late 50's and early 60's but she was still popular in Europe and on the nightclub circuit. She took her last name from her high school sweetheart Paul Mansfield when she married him at the age of seventeen. Her second husband was a former Mr. Universe named Mickey Hargitay who was from Norway. The third and last husband was Matt Cimber. Mansfield was highly educated, attending Southern Methodist University, the University of Texas and U.C.L.A. She supposedly had an IQ of 163 and was called the smartest dumb blonde ever. NASHVILLE AND JESSE JAMES

The James brothers with their mother Zerelda James   Most everyone has heard of the notorious outlaws Jesse and Frank James, however; did you know that they lived in Nashville from 1875 until March 1881? Jesse's oldest son Jesse James Jr. was born in Nashville along with his sister Mary. Jesse Jr. was born at 606 Boscobel Street on August 31, 1875. Mary was born on West Hamilton Road in Bordeaux on July 17, 1879. Jesse Jr. went by the name Tim and as far as he knew his last name was Howard. He and his sister would not know their real last names until after Jesse was killed in 1882. Jesse and his wife Zerelda would also lose two male twins in infancy.  Jesse's brother Frank lived on Clarksville Pike. While living there he and his wife Annie Ralston James gave birth to a son named Robert Franklin on February 6, 1877. For a time he would be dressed as a girl and go by the name of Mary. CHARLIE PARKHURST

  Charlie Parkhurst aka One-eyed Charlie, Cockeyed Charlie, or Six Horse Charlie was born in 1812 in Vermont. Eventually he made his way out west to California where he became a teamster and one of the most skilled stagecoach drivers in history. He was small in stature but tough. Shortly after becoming a stagecoach driver for the California Stage Company he was kicked in the face by a horse and blinded in one eye. Charlie began his reputation as a tough driver when a robber named "Sugarfoot" held up his stage one day. Taken by surprise his only option was to give up his strong box. Six months later the Sugarfoot hit him again but Charlie was prepared this time. He blew him away with a shotgun at point blank range.
