JUSTICE OR VENGEANCE

Justice can be defined this way. When laws are enforced and justice is fairly served. Or it can be defined as just or fair treatment. Vengeance on the other hand is punishment inflicted or retribution exacted for an injury or wrong. In my view vengeance can also be part of the justice process. These definitions only apply in a perfect society, or a society that is striving for perfection. It has not been the case in America for a very long time. We have a two tiered justice system where Democrats can virtually commit any crime and never be held accountable. That is Democrats who walk the party line and never buck the system. This doesn't apply to Democrats like RFK Jr, Tulsi Gabbard, or Eric Adams who have the nerve to think for themselves. Because of Democrats we are seeing law abiding good Samaritan citizens like Daniel Penny and Kyle Rittenhouse prosecuted for defending themselves and others. While at the same time perpetrators are ignored, slapped on the hand, released from jail repeatedly to prey on law abiding citizens, glorified and buried in golden coffins. Or the hundreds of January 6th protestors who are guilty of nothing more than exercising their 1st Amendment rights. They are being held in a filthy gulag prison and solitary confinement for months and years while violent Antifa, BLM and anti Israel rioters go free  Or peaceful anti abortion activists are treated like gangsters and given stiff prison sentences. This disparity creates cynicism and a lack of faith in our justice system. Hopefully President Trump's new justice department will prosecute real criminals for a change.

As a young Airmen fresh out of basic training I was stationed at Kingsley Field Oregon. Being married I lived off base. I don't know how far I lived from the base but it was probably a good six miles or seven miles. This was 1968 but my car was an old 1955 Pontiac that was not very dependable. Sometimes I had to walk to work because my car wouldn't start. I was 15 minutes late for work one day and my sergeant wrote me up. This was my first time being late. In a civilian job if you are late for the first time you may or may not get a talking to but that is about it. Being late in the military is a crime and I was facing legal action under the UCMJ, or Uniform Code of military justice. I had to see the staff judge advocate which is the military's equivalent of a lawyer. My young naive mind was blown away. How could I be in so much trouble for being 15 minutes late and for the first time? I told my lawyer that I wanted to fight this. He asked me if I was late. I told him that I was. He said that I was guilty and I had only two options. I could request an Article 15 or I could ask for a court martial. The lawyer explained to me that an Article 15 was the same as accepting a plea deal. He told me that my chances for leniency were greater than if I chose a court martial. Under an Article 15 my fate would rest with the base commander. He could choose anything from jail time, a reduction in rank or extra duty picking up trash around the base for a designated period of time. An Article 15 would be less likely to affect any future promotions than a court martial. Since I was late and had violated the letter of the law I would definitely be found guilty. My punishment would probably be much more harsh and it could affect future promotions. I chose the Article 15 which was the best decision. The base commander was lenient with me and gave me 30 days of extra duty picking up trash around the base. As it turned out it didn't affect my promotions. I made SSgt or E-5 with less than 3 years time in grade which is about as fast as you can be promoted in the Air Force. Although I considered my treatment unjust at the time for being late this experience produced the desired result. I was never late for work again while I was in the Air Force.

My next encounter with military justice occurred about a year later. One day I reported to work for a swing shift and I was approached by two OSS officers dressed in plain clothes. OSI stands for Office of Special Investigation. Another Sergeant and myself were asked to follow them into a nearby room where they could speak to us in private. They told us that several pistols and over a thousand rounds of ammunition were missing from the arms room. At that time our unit was understaffed and the S.A.T. team, or Security Alert Team, in addition to our normal duty of mobile patrol was to work as armorers during shift changes. The sergeant and myself had been on S.A.T the night before. They read us our Miranda rights and both of us waived our right to counsel. We both denied knowing anything about the theft. There were four Security Police Flights that worked as armorers and any one of them could have stolen the weapons and ammo. In addition no one knew how long ago the theft had occurred. A previous armorer could have done it when we were fully manned. Although I knew that I didn't steal the weapons I must admit that for a few days I was sweating it out but we never were contacted again. If we had been falsely charged of this crime we could have been looking at the possibility of serious jail time if convicted. I don't think they ever solved the case.

As a civilian I have never received more than a traffic ticket but I did serve a month on jury duty. That was a learning experience for me. In January 1986 I served jury duty in Rutherford County Tennessee. I sat on a number of civil trials and two criminal trials. In every situation I have a clear conscience on the way I voted. My most memorable experience was a rape trial. Our jury was sequestered and this experience was almost like being arrested. For three days we had sheriff deputies watching our every move. When we traveled anywhere it was either in the back of a police car or in the back of a paddy wagon. Deputies were present while we ate and we were confined to our motel rooms when not in court. We were in court from very early in the morning to very late at night for 2 days and the trial was over by late afternoon of the third day. Ultimately the state was unable to prove it's case beyond a reasonable doubt for 4 of us. The remaining 8 jurors were convinced that the man was guilty. Two of us who voted not guilty were the only women on the jury. The case ended in a hung jury. We later felt vindicated when we learned after the trial that the suspected rapist had a brother with an extensive criminal past who was probably the one who committed the rape. The state didn't even know about the brother during the trial. The idea of justice has always been very important to me. I believe in equal justice for all under the law. I love movies where the bad guy loses and the good guy wins. I don't care whether your rich or poor, black or white, attractive or ugly, fat or thin, black or white or what ethnicity I want a person to be held accountable if they break the law. I also expect the innocent to go free if they are falsely accused regardless of what I might think of them personally. I expect that both the letter of the law and spirit of the law will be enforced. For example if a person goes into a fast food restaurant, ties up the workers and kills them in cold blood by the letter of the law that person is guilty of murder. On the other hand If there is a fight in a bar and a person kills another patron while in a drunken rage by the letter of the law they are also guilty of murder. By the spirit of the law, however; I don't expect the person who killed someone in a bar fight to be punished as harshly as the psychopath that executed fast food workers. For me there is nothing as frustrating as watching people routinely committing crime and never being held to account.

For years Democrats have committed crimes and involved themselves in highly unethical behavior without ever being held to account. This lack of accountability goes far back in our history. In 1870 a black woman in Alabama was brutally beaten by a group of whites. She was ordered to raise $16.45 in court costs, which was about 400 dollars in todays money before her case could be heard. When the case came to trial the Democrat judge released the offenders and told the woman if she didn't drop the case he would put her in jail. In Charlotte North Carolina a group of Republican prisoners were repeatedly whipped. A Republican prisoner said that the "one democrat in this god forsaken place...fares like a Lord." I could give you hundreds more examples like this of Democrat injustice from the days of Reconstruction and Jim Crow. John Kennedy used the mafia to rig the vote in Illinois and Lyndon Johnson to rig the vote in Texas in order to win the 1960 presidential election over Richard Nixon. Kennedy illegally wiretapped American citizens including Martin Luther King. He shared a mistress with Mafia boss Sam Giancana and had sex with prostitutes in the White House. JFK took the virginity of a 19 year old intern on Jackie Kennedy's bed while she was away. He then shared her with a member of his staff until she mustered the courage to say no to further humiliation and molestation.

Bill and Hillary Clinton were involved in numerous scandals while Bill was Arkansas's attorney general, governor of Arkansas and president of the United States. This list is just a few of the scandals they were involved in. the Rose Law Firm over billing, Mena Arkansas drug trafficking, the Whitewater land deal, Travelgate, Vince Fosters death, Filegate, Benghazi, money laundering through the Clinton Foundation, Hillary's private email server. Then there were the many women that Bill had affairs with, molested, or raped. Most with the knowledge of Hillary. Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey, Leslie Milwee, Cristy Zercher, Eileen Wellstone, Sandra Allen Jones, Karen Hinton, and Monica Lewinsky just to name a few. Lyndon Johnson received the Silver Star in the Navy for one supposed combat mission in WW2 although he was never near Japanese forces. His Silver Star was based on a myth. During his political campaigns he arranged to have the Silver Star presented to him in front of crowds many times. He also claimed to have seen 14 Japanese Zeros shot down which never happened. The men that served with him in his old unit were upset because they never received one themselves. In 1948 Johnson won the Democrat primary race by only 87 votes. Winning a Democrat primary in Texas in 1948 was the equivalent of winning the Senate since the Republican's were not competitive in the South then. There was massive evidence of voter fraud in that election. As a result Johnson earned the nickname "Landslide Lyndon". Lyndon Johnson can be connected to the murder of 8 people including his own sister and John F. Kennedy. The presidency of Lyndon Johnson was one of the worst things that ever happened to this country. The War in Vietnam and the War On Poverty brought about very negative fundamental changes that have severely damaged the American family, especially the black family. His presidency was a catalyst for the proliferation of drugs into society which has also destroyed and damaged families. I could continue to bring up many examples of corruption with the Obama and Biden administration which are legion but my point here is to show that the corruption and injustices committed by the Democrat party did not begin overnight. They go all the way back to the founding of the party. The Democrat party has been a curse on our country. The only president that has ever been held accountable for criminal or unethical behavior was the Republican Richard Nixon and he was a choir boy compared to the Democrats I have mentioned.

The Pravda media is constantly asking Trump if he will seek retribution against anyone who has opposed him. This is a subject which I have given a lot of thought to. Many crimes have been committed against Donald Trump not only by people in the Democrat Party but some in the Republican party. Crimes have been committed not only against Trump but against this country and the American people by the Democrat party. The Biden crime family made shady business deals with China and Ukraine which were detrimental to this country and made the Bidens very wealthy. The Clinton crime family also greatly benefitted from graft and corruption at the expense of the American people. Hillary's crimes are legion. Anthony Fauci created a deadly disease that killed millions worldwide, including my son and close friends. When questioned on it in Congress he lied under oath several times. The FBI illegally spied on Donald Trump, and millions of Americans. They illegally raided the homes of Trump, many of his supporters in government and private citizens. Average everyday patriotic people were turned into criminals charged with non crimes or over prosecuted. The government colluded with social media to censure Americans which is illegal under the 1st Amendment. Trump was illegally prosecuted for concocted crimes, and nearly killed twice. The January 6th committee and DOJ illegally caused the incarceration of hundreds of American patriots for supposedly trespassing in the Capital. I could go on and on. Democrat activist judges and Democrat politicians are obstructing the deportation of criminal illegals right now. The Trump DOJ is overwhelmed because of the Democrat party lawfare. These Democrat law breakers need to go to jail. If they are not punished in a significant way once the Democrats regain power they will abuse their power again. Next time it will be even worse. Innocent people will go to jail for nothing more than being part of the political opposition.
